Occupying an impressive timber-framed building, the hotel lies on a pedestrianised area within the town centre, directly opposite the town hall. Following extensive renovation and extension work some 10 years ago, it offers a modern spa area overlooking an attractive park with a romantic pond.

With a history dating back almost 400 years, this hotel offers all the modern comforts and amenities you need to make your stay a real experience. The foundations for the Weser renaissance-style main hotel building were laid down in 1565.

Our swimming pool with counter current, our whirlpool, our sauna and our solarium invite you to linger and unwind. From here you can enjoy a view of a small pond within an attractive park, which invites you to sunbathe and relax on warm summer days.

The Menzhausen Restaurant is an elegant restaurant offering exquisite menus for gourmets. The Menzhausen Stube is a popular meeting place for locals and offers regional dishes. Our conservatory with open fire place and view of the romantic garden is ideal for banquets of up to 30 persons. The quiet club room can be used for private events and small festivities, while the rustic "Alte Schmiede" ("old blacksmith's") features a romantic courtyard garden with a barbecue area.
