Set in a majestic mountain landscape, this fantastic Art Nouveau hotel built in 1903 still looks just as impressive today. Even in the prewar years the Terrace was the embodiment of everything one imagines a luxuary hotel to be. It has preserved this unique charm and splendour to the present day, weaving its spell to entice its national and international clientele to return again and again.

Following comprehensive renovation, the hotel now has everything one could possibly expect of an upper three-star hotel. Today, thanks to its modern infrastructure and professional management by Bergbahnen Titlis Rotair, the hotel is a place where individual guests, business gatherings and tourist groups find their every wish satisfied.

Engelberg – welcome to heaven, welcome to the summer and winter holiday paradise at 1050 metres above sea level. The village radiates the special charm of the Benedictine monastery, the wonderfully fresh countryside and an impressive mountain panorama. Our historic Terrace cable car runs from the village up to the Hotel Terrace in 3 minutes (free of charge).

Ski shuttle bus
The ski shuttle bus will take you (free of charge) from the train station to the Titlis Valley Station (within walking distance from Hotel Terrace, approx. 20 minutes).
