These attractive holiday apartments, the largest of which accommodates up to 8 people, lie in the centre of Stralsund's Old Town, just steps from the Neuer Markt marketplace or the harbour.

The modern, comfortably furnished apartments offered by City Apartments Altstadt Stralsund are located either in the Altstadt Hotel zur Post or in a nearby building belonging to the hotel.

Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen. Some apartments also provide Wi-Fi internet access, either free of charge or for an additional fee. Please read the individual room descriptions for further details.

Guests are welcome to use the facilities of the Hotel zur Post. A rich and varied buffet breakfast is available in the restaurant here each morning, for an additional fee.

The hotel also offers a snack bar at lunch time. In the evenings, you can enjoy à la carte dining or choose from a buffet. The Hemingway bar serves a wide selection of drinks, including exotic cocktails and 130 different types of whiskey.

• Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
• Parking: Free private parking is possible at a location nearby.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All further older children or adults are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Keys are handed over at the reception desk of the Altstadt Hotel zur Post The rates indicated refer to 1 or 2 people staying. An extra fee is charged for additional guests. Please see the Policies Section for more information. The hotel would like you to be aware that on certain nights they organise a disco, which usually goes on until the early hours of the morning. This is held on the following dates: In winter 2009: 07 November, 05 December, 31 December. In spring 2010: 06 February, 06 March, 10 April. On these dates, the restaurant will be closed for the weekend and there will be no vehicle access to the underground car park between 19:00 on Saturday and 07:00 on Sunday.
