Mayfield House Hotel has a beautiful, idyllic rural location, nestled on the southern edge of the glorious Cotswolds in the attractive stone-built village of Crudwell. Set in the heart of the charming peaceful countryside surrounding Cirencester, this privately owned and operated hotel is in the perfect spot for a relaxing, restful, restorative break. Not only Cheltenham is within easy reach, other nearby tourist attractions also include Cotswold’s Water Park, Bath, Westonbirt Arboretum and Alan Titchmarsh’s favourite, Malmesbury Abbey Gardens. The Cotswold towns of Tetbury, Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all accessible by car.

The comfortable lounge, welcoming bar and charming AA Rosette accredited restaurant reflect the style of a small country house hotel. Guests can enjoy traditional standards of service and hospitality in a delightful, informal setting.

All our en suite bedrooms have been designed to provide a cosy retreat, where you can really relax. You'll appreciate those little extra touches like a colour television (upgraded rooms with flat-screens and Freeview), complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer, radio alarm clock, direct dial telephone and complimentary tea tray.

Family and ground floor rooms are also available as are selected rooms which allow pets.

All our food is home produced by our team of talented chefs, lead by the enthusiastic Head Chef Nick Batstone, boasting some 15 years experience here at the Mayfield House. Using the freshest seasonal ingredients and herbs from our own gardens, our menu is seasonally balanced with the majority of our produce sourced locally from our Bromyard Beef, to Bibury Duck or Bath Blue Cheese!

The Cotswolds is world famous for the beauty of its towns and villages. In scale this varies from modest cottages to imposing manor houses and impressive churches both large and small. It is the uniformity which so appeals - a mellow golden limestone, which as you get to know it you will see varies across the region from a creamy white through subtleties of grey to a golden hue, all within the space of a few miles!
