Dating back to the second half of the 18th century, this charming hotel is set on the edge of Great Windsor Park, very close to Virginia Water Lake.

Today the Wheatsheaf offers a traditional and charming pub with competitively priced hotel accommodation. It is the ideal place to come and relax on a weekend break, a business stopover, a conference or a private function. All rooms are well-equipped and have free Wi-Fi internet access.

Ideally situated for visiting Windsor and the surrounding attractions, the Wheatsheaf is also conveniently close to Heathrow Airport. It has direct and easy transport links to London by both road and rail.

Built in 1768 on the edge of Great Windsor Park, in June 1801 the Wheatsheaf received a visit from George III, Queen Charlotte and Prince Adolphus.

By Car: From the north: - Take the M25. - Exit at junction 13. - Follow the A30 towards Bagshot/Camberley. - Continue for approximately 2.5 miles, passing one set of traffic lights. - As you approach the next set of lights you will see the hotel on the right-hand side; at these lights you need to turn right to enter the car park. From the south: - Take the M3. - Exit at junction 3. - Follow signs for the A30 Staines/London. - Continue on the A30. - The hotel is situated approximately 1.9 miles past Sunningdale on the left. - At the traffic lights turn left into the hotel car park. The hotel has ample on site parking. By Train: Virginia Water Train Station is located approximately 2 miles away from the hotel. The station has direct rail links to London Waterloo, taking 30-40 minutes. By Air: The hotel is approx 20 minutes away from London Heathrow. The hotel can reached by using the M4 (Westbound) and M25(Southbound) motorways from the airport, follow road directions above 'From the north'.
