This hotel is situated in the centre of Recke, right between the Münsterland parks, Teutoburg Forest and the Lower Saxony moorlands.

Our traditional and intimate hospitality and atmosphere combined with modern amenities is reflected in the architecture of the hotel. The cosy lounges and fireplace lounge are situated in the historical part of the building, while the hotel rooms are can be found in the modern extension.

Whether you are here on business, for a family or company celebration or event, simply to enjoy a coffee or to sample delicacies from our à la carte menu, we welcome you with 182 years experience of hospitality.

This guesthouse looks back on a long history of tradition. In 1823, landlord August Greve took on the restaurant tavern and hotel guesthouse, and opened a bakery here as well, so that farmers could exchange corn for baked bread.

With Josef Greve, his wife Hedwig and their son Christian, he has welcomed guests down through the generations with warmth and joy.

To ensure a diverse yet relaxing holiday, we have a sunbathing lawn, a bike rental and 2 bowling alleys.
