Tucked away in the Blyde Olifants Conservancy, Matumi Game Lodge offers 20 comfortable guest units, some of which are self catering.

Start the day with a swim in the pool, followed by an unforgettable day of safari. For your convenience, packed lunches and tours can be arranged by your attentive hosts.

Matumi Game Lodge has its very own restaurant with bar, ideal for dining in comfort while being surrounded by striking nature. Sit around the open fireplace or make use of the barbecue facilities.

Thatched roofing and various safari-style design elements ensure a traditional feel. Relax in the garden, where you might encounter wild antelopes, or buy souvenirs at the on-site gift shop.

• Deposit: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
• Internet: Wireless internet is available in the business centre and charges are applicable.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed.
• Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.
• Extra Charges: 14 % VAT is included. Service charge is included. 1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. Baby cots are not available. One child under 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Matumi Game Lodge - Directions

By car: - Arriving at East Gate Airport, turn right in the direction of Hoedspruit. - Turn left in the direction of Whiteriver at the T-junction. - Follow Orpen Road and turn left in the direction of Orpen Gate. - Take the first road to your left (Guernsey Road). - Follow the road for about 6 km, the lodge is on the right-hand side. - Coming from Johannesburg, take the N4 (tollroad) to Nelspruit. - In Belfast, turn left in the direction of Dullstroom/Lydenburg/Orighstad/Hoedspruit. - Once in Hoedspruit, turn right in the direction of Whiteriver. - Turn right onto Orpen Road. - Take the first road to your left and follow Guernsey Road for about 6 km. - The lodge is on your right-hand side.
