Here, you will find picturesque walks around the town, taking in the village green, timbered village hall and Norman church. The hotel is within a mile of rail networks, with the motorway and ports of Folkestone a short drive away. The Channel Tunnel is only 10 minutes away, ideal for a long lie in before venturing on your journey.

The Castle Hotel's restaurant serves excellent home cooking that draws from fresh, local produce. Our bar area is the hub of the village life, where guests and locals meet for a drink or 2.

Our hotel consists of 6 en suite rooms and is an excellent base for exploring the countryside of Kent or a stop over for those travelling to the Continent. Room rates includes a full English breakfast.

The Castle Hotel, Hythe - Directions

By Car: - Exit the M20 at junction 11. We can arrange to have a taxi waiting for you at the nearest train station (Sandling Station), if you notify us of your expected time of arrival and where your travelling from. Journey time from the station to hotel is around 2 minutes and will cost on average 3 GBP. Trains to Sandling station are regular, averaging one an hour from Charing Cross and stopping at Tunbridge Wells and Ashford International. A bus service runs through Saltwood from Ashford twice a day and from Folkestone at regular intervals.
