Although the Antika hotel is situated only 100 metres from Zermatt's church and the main street (Bahnhofstrasse), it enjoys very quiet surroundings. The cable cars are only a 5-minute walk away.

Hotel Antika, Zermatt - Directions

There are direct train connections in Brig and Visp to the modern narrow-gauge Matterhorn Gotthard railway, which arrives in Zermatt after a 90-minute journey through the romantic, rugged Vispa Valley. Zermatt is a car-free resort. Access for private transport is only allowed as far as Täsch (5km from Zermatt). The road from Täsch to Zermatt is not open to public transport. There are open-air car parks (900 spaces) and covered car parks (2,900 spaces; 2,000 of it at the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch) in Täsch. Some covered car parks also have outside parking spaces and operate a taxi service to and from Zermatt. Shuttle trains operated by the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway run every 20 minutes.
