December 22, 2011Really romantic en nice hotel! The rooms are small but cosy. Room and bathroom was very clean. You could make your own breakfast, for us that was perfect! You kan eat at any time you want and they had everything you need. We found this hotel really beautiful! We come definitely back!
Only little minus wast that it was really too warm in the room. But thats all, everything was perfect!

December 17, 2011Friendly, comfortable, good facilities including endless breakfast, tea and coffee, kitchen diner with self catering if required, games and television etc. Free wifi in all rooms, excellent value for money, first class en suite facilities. A real find!
The building had some bad cracks in the walls from the outside and appeared somewhat badly maintained. However these didn't show from inside.

December 13, 2011Basic but pleasant and comfortable accommodation in a characterful old building in easy walking distance of central Uppsala. Clean rooms, modern shower rooms, great self-service breakfast. Great as a base for a city break. We had a hotel room, but bunked hostel rooms are also available.

November 16, 2011Easy and comfortable - felt more like a home than a hotel. Has all that you need (except maybe a hair dryer), no unecessary luxury. Definitely worth its price.
Could be more sound-proof.

November 11, 2011Very nice and quiet, there's a small kitchen in the hall, can make you're own tee.
Breakfast is included, but you have to cook it yourself literally. Not really a problem, just be prepared

July 10, 2011Decent breakfast included in the price, clean and stylish (in a sort of IKEA way) room, near to the train station once you actually find the place.
Not east to find the place even when you find the street because the signage is not at all obvious. The advertised bike here was not available "because we don't have any bikes that work".

June 5, 2011Clean room and fresh toilet. Good location not far from train station.
The reception opening hours was quite limited. But I guess that is to reduce the price.

May 16, 2011Close by to the trainstation and the city centre, walking distance.
There only one staff member available at the reception at certain time windows. Breakfast was of a shared kitchen principle and not internationally oriented.

April 15, 2011A small hotel in the city centre. Modest but clean. Decent breakfest.
Reduced staff presence could be an issue at times. A triple room had beds which were a bit too small.

April 7, 2011Great location, self-serving breakfast - all the products were ready in the fridge from where you could take them and make a breakfast at the time you like. Also a possibility to use kitchen equipment and fridge to keep your own food.

March 19, 2011Make your own breakfast was good. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, you can eat from the fridge. The bathroom was newly refinished.
Walls are paperthin. I could literally hear the woman next to me snoring and thought her dog was in my room at one point. People having sex and tapking all night was annoying, and not once did I see any hotel staff. There is not a staffed front desk, forget asking for another towel!

February 16, 2011The location was excellent and easy to find, right near Uppsala train station. Also checking in and out at odd times was not a problem. Modern bathroom and very clean. If you want a good hostel, then definitely book here. For a hotel go elsewhere.
We booked and paid for a double hotel room, but all rooms only have single beds. It was very much an up-market hostel rather than a hotel and therefore the hotel rate was too expensive. The help yourself breakfast was fine for a hostel level but not for a hotel and with a freezing cold room despite all radiators blazing and no television in room, we would have been very happy to pay for a hostel not a hotel.

January 21, 2011Guests were friendly, as well as staff.
I arrived late and had some difficulty finding out how to have access to my room. A note had been left at the door for me, but it was dark and I didn't see it at first. Also, I had difficulty finding the hotel and its entrance.
