The hotel was built in 1995 and is nestled between a fragrant orange grove and a tropical garden which is cared for by the owner, Enzo. It is full of botanical rarities such as chicas, giant Sterlithias, black geraniums and a variety of Hybiscus.

ARRIVAL By car: From the north:Naples - Take the Autostrada A3 Salerno-Reggio and leave it at the exit "Pizzo Calabro". - Follow the signs to Tropea on the S.S. 522. - After arrival in Tropea always on S.S. 522 follow the signs to Capo Vaticano/Reggio C. - 3 km behind Tropea you pass through the little village Santa Domenica. 3 km after this village the hotel is located on the left hand side. From the south: - Take the ferryboat from Sicily to Villa san Giovanni or Reggio Calabria. - From there take the motorway A3-Reggio-Salerno and take the Exit at Rosarno (about 70 kms from Villa san Giovanni) - Follow the route Nicotera-Joppolo-Ricadi. - 4 km after Ricadi in toward Tropea you'll find the Hotel Damanse on the right hand side of the street.
