Welcome to the Hotel Al Convento, standing in the heart of Vezzano Ligure, an ancient village on a hill at the confluence of the Magra and Vara rivers.

The building used to be a convent of the adjacent church of S. Maria Assunta and Sebastiano, on the way to the Parish Church of S. Prospero from Corongiola.

A careful restoration made Albergo Al Convento an elegant establishment boasting ancient magnificence. La locanda del Viandante is a typical Italian restaurant and sits next to the hotel.

" We will certainly go back there a third time. This is definitely the nicest of the 3-satr hotels I have been to in Italy. I suppose that if you want to be in the thick of things, the village is very quiet, but its charm outweighs the action-factor. The only thing that could be improved would be the driving directions from the highway! We took the same wrong turn both times we stayed there. "
