The Estalagem Abrigo da Montanha is built of granite and complemented with wood. The restaurant and sitting room, with its fireplaces, give it a cosy atmosphere with a sense of well being. The public rooms and guest rooms are all tastefully furnished in rustic style.

Outside there is a private pool with terrace decked with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a large dance floor with a bar area. In the summer join us for hot salsa nights under a starlit sky.

From Faro Airport: The hotel can be reached by bus going via the 125 to Portimão. From the central bus stop there is another bus to Monchique central square, where you also find a taxi rank to cover the last 3 km to Foia. On request, an airport shuttle can be organised for an additional charge.
