Situated in a quiet residential street, applewood house is located on the prestigious south side of harrogate. We are a no smoking establishment awarded a gold accolade for our luxury accommodation and superb personal service

All rooms are spacious with large En-Suite facilities(and power showers), with one twin having a bath. Each room has television and coffee/tea making facilities. The bed and furniture is of pine construction, the mattresses are high quality pocket sprung for comfort. Each room has been individually decorated and enhanced with luxury soft furnishings. Double glazing and individually controlled radiator valves ensure that all rooms are warm and welcoming. We aim to provide a very high degree of comfort, including high quality bed linen, excellent towels, with furnishing of which we are proud. The cleanliness and general structure is exceptional. As well as all this, our house meets the latest, most stringent fire and environmental health regulations.wireless internet access is provided free of charge

A totally renovated Victorian residence is the basis of the luxurious accommodation offered at Applewood House. This, together with a very personal service from the owners, Barry and Lesley Knight, is intended to offer a most memorable stay.

Applewood House has been awarded a Gold Accolade for the second successive year by VisitBritain, who described it as "the best of the best".

Applewood House has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the best features of its construction (large spacious rooms; original fireplaces), but adapted to meet modern requirements such as central heating, double glazing and a water system to ensure constant hot water for the showers, together with free Wi-Fi internet access.

Breakfast can range from a quick snack prior to a full day's work or a leisurely meal before the day's sightseeing. Always an enjoyable experience, Applewood House offers everything from a full cooked English breakfast to cold meats and cheeses, with the food being freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients, wherever possible.

Applewood House aims to provide a very high degree of comfort, including high quality bed linen, excellent towels, with furnishing of which the management are proud. The cleanliness and general structure is exceptional. As well as all this, the house meets the latest, most stringent fire and environmental health regulations.

The house is also a non-smoking establishment throughout and all guests are required to respect this policy.

St Georges Road is just off Leeds Rd(A61)south of City Centre .It leads directly off a 6 junction roundabout( 1st exit if entering from the South, or 4th if leaving Harrogate). We can provide a service for collecting our guests from, and returning to the airport (not complimentary) and railway station, but this is subject to prior arrangement. We also have off-street parking for those using a car.
