This tropical, colonial-style hotel, located between historic Vinos and Garachico, is surrounded by 60 hectares of banana plantations, running right down to the Atlantic Ocean.

El Patio is set around a courtyard filled with palms and 100-year-old Drago trees. It is surrounded by lush gardens and fountains, creating a unique, charming atmosphere in this area of north-west Tenerife. These gardens lead down to the property's own small private beach.

Enjoy the peaceful setting with a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool. You can also choose to spend some time in the sauna before cooling off in the jacuzzi.

The hotel building has been in the family since the 16th century and has maintained the feel of a stately home. It is full of history and family heirlooms that have survived to the present day. Also part of the property is El Patio II, an old house where the plantation workers used to live. The 2 buildings are connected by a number of roads running between the bananas groves.

By car: From Aeropuerto Sur Reina Sofia: - Take the motorway towards Guía de Isora and continue on the road towards Santiago del Teide-Icod de los Vinos. The hotel is situated 3 km from Icod de los Vinos, towards Garachico. From Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte: - Take the motorway towards Puerto de Cruz and continue on the main road towards Icod de los Vinos. Please note: on the road to Icod de los Vinos, towards Garachico, there is a Bar Restaurant, "El Gincho", to the right of this bar there is a driveway that leads to the hotel.
