Along the Costa Brava and in Catalunya there is much to see and do. Girona (37 km): An attractive city well worth a visit. Here you can stroll around the ‘Call’ (the well-preserved Jewish quarter), admire the Baroque cathedral, visit the Arabic bathes, the Diocesan museum and the Archaeological trail and wall. Figueres (70 km): Here you is the world-renowned Dalí Theatre-Museum, dedicated to Salvador Dalí and where you can admire his art, sculptures, jewellery and designs of the Catalan surrealist. Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Nature Reserve (an hours drive): Situated along the coast of Roses bay, a protected area of wetlands with much flora and fauna of great interest. Botanical gardens: There are 3 different botanical gardens in the area, Mar i Murtra and Pinya de Rosa in Blanes and Cap Roig in Plafrugell.
