Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District, this traditional guest house is only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere village and the railway station.

The Ravensworth has an excellent location from which to explore the many attractions of the Lake District National Park. The region's stunning scenery and beautiful landscapes are just a short walk away, while all the shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities of Windermere village are within easy reach.

There is a guests' lounge, a conservatory breakfast room and a sun terrace.

Complimentary refreshments are offered to morning and afternoon arrivals.

Enjoy home-from-home comforts, complemented by a well-cooked and freshly prepared English breakfast in one of the most beautiful areas of England.

Please note that there are 2 small dogs on the premises.

The Ravensworth is not a hotel and cannot offer many of the facilities expected of one. There are no lifts. Bedrooms and bathrooms are of a perfectly adequate size but are not enormous.

Turn off the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 onto the A590 (A591) to Kendal & Windermere. Follow the dual carriageway to the large roundabout just outside Kendal. Carry on along the A591 to Windermere. After passing the village sign stay on the main road, ignoring the sign into the town centre, and The Ravensworth is about 500 metres on the left, just before the doctors surgery and church.
