Traditional German meals and also international delicacies are served in the Jägerhaus (literally: hunting lodge) restaurant.

In the restaurant we also offer a selection of cold starters and salads, made from recipes largely (but not exclusively) coming from Russia and the former Soviet Union.

You can also enjoy a fresh, local draught beer from the traditional Dingslebener private brewery.

There are a whole host of sporting activities for those who enjoy active pastimes. The surrounding forests offer a natural environment for hiking, Nordic walking and cycling. There is a well-signposted network of hiking trails leading up into the Rennsteig (a historical pathway along the ridges separating Thuringia and Franconia).

The winter sports centre in Oberhof is just 8 km from the hotel and has plenty to offer keen cross-country skiers, downhill skiers or snowboarders. Also in Oberhof are the thermal baths where you can relax after your physical exertions.

Guests can make day-trips to the towns of Gotha, Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, Gera or Oberhof, or indeed visit a number of thermal baths, salt mines, castles, palaces, museums or monuments.
