Nestled amid 66 acres of historic gardens and parkland in the depths of Hampshire, Tylney Hall boasts superb accommodation, excellent food and comprehensive leisure facilities, including a health spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and all-weather tennis courts.
During your stay you can explore the beautiful grounds with lovely woodland walks; inhale the heady fragrance in the Rose Garden; trail your fingers in the exquisite Water Gardens; and enjoy the view of the lake from the boathouse bridge.
The current house dates from 1898 and served as a hospital during the First World War, later becoming a private school. Today, it's one of England's most comfortable and characteristic country house hotels.
Tylney Hall is the perfect place to get away from it all, enjoy a romantic break or hold the wedding you have always dreamed of. The extensive grounds house a Vista lined with giant redwoods which offers the longest, uninterrupted view of the Hampshire countryside; an orchard; Victorian greenhouses; croquet; and jogging trails; Mountain bike hire is available to explore the wonderful surroundings.
The health spa offers 4 treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure room, fully-equipped gymnasium, saunas and a whirlpool. Golf is available at the adjacent 18-hole golf course and we can also arrange archery, clay pigeon shooting and similar activities.
The Italian Lounge and Wedgwood-style Drawing Room provide elegant surroundings for those quiet moments of relaxation. Pre-dinner drinks are hosted in the Library Bar before tasting the gastronomic delights of the Oak Room Restaurant. Food is a key ingredient in the Tylney Hall experience. Whether you are sitting down to a romantic candlelit dinner for 2, a light lunch. or tea and scones by the fire, you can be sure of outstanding quality and service. Meals are served in the wood-panelled Oak Room Restaurant with delightful views of the gardens. The hotel also serves afternoon teas and light lunches in the Italian or Grey Lounge, in front of the fire, or on the terraces in summer. The head chef, Stephen Hine, prides himself on using the best ingredients available to create classical dishes with a modern approach. Food is bought either locally or direct from London, using mainly English ingredients, and naturally, all dishes are prepared to order. The Oak Room Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for the outstanding preparation of its food, the high standards of its cuisine and the good quality of the ingredients it uses.

Conveniently located only 5 minutes from the M3, if you venture off site there are many attractions to choose from, including historic Windsor Castle, Legoland and Wellington Country Park with 350 acres of wooded parkland. There are also a number of especially commissioned walks, enabling you to explore the surrounding countryside. The local area is rich in historic buildings, gardens and other attractions. These include Windsor Palace, with its fine works of art and armour; Birdworld Park and Gardens, with its fascinating collection of birds from around the world; Marwell Zoological Park, one of the largest zoological parks in the UK with over 200 species of animals; and the house where Jane Austen wrote the novels Mansfield Park and Persuasion.
