Balneario Termas Pallares, Alhama de Aragon - Hotel Description

This property is made up of 2 hotels within the Balneario Termas Pallares spa resort - the Hotel Termas and the Hotel Parque.

Dating back to 1863, this complex is located in the Spanish countryside between Madrid and Zaragoza. Famous in the 19th century for its healing waters and grandiose style, the spa has been constantly renovated but still retains much of its timeless elegance.

The complex is surrounded by 7 hectares of garden and parkland, the centrepiece of which is a naturally heated lake - unique in Europe. Here you can enjoy a comfortable swim in the warm waters at any time of the year.

In addition to these impressive natural features, the complex also includes a fitness centre and one of the most state-of-the-art thermal spa centres in Spain.

Here at Termas Pallares we can sense the history that surrounds us. There are many men, periods, ideas and to remember them we have to go back in time more than 2000 years, to when the therapeutic properties of the Spa were first known.

Beginnings
The history of its buildings dates from 1863, year when the construction of two hotels and a casino was undertaken. The latter was inaugurated in 1910, a time when, as the story goes, quite a few fortunes were lost on the tables of the splendid halls (today used as congress and conference halls).

The rooms of the Spa have housed monarchs, politicians, artists, writers...

The Present
Today its elegant architecture recalls all the glamour of the authentic 19th century Spas, where the fabulous vision of a sparkling past exists alongside the total comfort of our days.
