Arrival at Frankfurt Main Station : Take underground Nr. 4 direction "Seckbacher Landstrasse" or underground Nr. 5 direction "Preungesheim" and exit after 3 stops at "Konstabler Wache" At "Konstabler Wache" take underground Nr. 7 direction "Enkheim" for 2 stops (station "Habsburgerallee"). Take exit "Waldschmidtstraße" to leave the station. After a 200 meters walk you will find the Alexander am Zoo.
