The holiday hotel "Forelle" is a traditional, family run hotel in the upper Bode Valley ("Bodetal"), located beside the conservation area of the same name.

The hotel provides the ideal base for those in search of culture and recreation within the Harz region.

The hotel occupies a timber-framed building from the end of the 18th century. It lies directly on the Bode river and is the area's oldest guesthouse.

All children from 6 to 12 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. • Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Arriving by car from the north: - Take the A7 motorway to Hanover, then travel through Braunschweig towards Bad Harzburg - Take the B6 after Blankenburg and then change to the B81 towards Hasselfelde - Continue as far as Cattenstedt, then travel through Wienrode to reach Treseburg Arriving by car from the east: - Take the E14 to Quedlinburg, then travel through Thale towards Treseburg Arriving by car from the south: - Take the A7 motorway to Göttingen, and then travel through Herzberg and Braunlage and head towards Hasselfelde - Take the B81 towards Blankenburg and exit at Altenbrak - Follow the signs to Treseburg
