The "Steigenberger Resort Hotel", with its lovingly renovated manor house, a modern wing and a holiday village, leaves nothing to be desired (holiday-wise)! Go on an expedition over the island or let yourself be spoilt in our Rügen-SPA-Center and in the lavish Jasmund Thermal Spa with its wellness facilities, while the kids enjoy themselves on the giant slide or in the Kids' Club.

**Please note that due to construction work the sauna area "Jasmund Therme" is closed from the 31.03. - 09.05.2008. Hotel guests can use the sauna in the west wing of the house. The beauty- and wellness area can be used without restriction.**

The Steigenberger Resort Hotel offers a different entertainment and activity programme every day. In the "Jasmund Therme" are two fun bowling alleys. Tennis fans can play on the two "Jasmund" indoor courts or on one of the four outdoor sand tennis courts in the open-air sports area. Two boccia lanes, table tennis, bicycle hire, inline skating, a mini-golf course and a golf driving range ensure this resort Hotel has something for every sportsman or woman. Riding stables with 40 horses and ponies are only 300 m away and offer instruction, both indoors and outdoors.

For wellness and bathing fans the vast bathing centre of the "Jasmund Therme" leaves nothing to be desired.

The attractive focal point and highlight of the "Steigenberger Resort Hotel" is the "Jasmund Therme" - more than 1000 m² of bathing facilities and fun - with indoor and outdoor pools (26-28° C), a hydrodynamic channel, effervescent pools, whirlpool, water loungers and islands, a 85 m-long water slide and a baby pool. There is also enjoyment for the whole family in our sauna centre with 4 Finnish sauna, steam bath and solariums and a large outdoor area.

From 1 July 2008 until 31 August 2008, the in-door pool and its sauna area will be closed for renovation. The outdoor pool, sports facilities in the "Jasmund Therme" and sauna in the hotel building will remain open throughout this period.

At the heart of the island in surroundings most conductive to playing golf you will find the Golfclub Ruegen Castle Karnitz e.V. golfing centre. Golf can be played here all year round in the best conditions. The 18 hole Challenge Course lives up to its name: it tests the skills of any player, whether professional or amateur. Even for players with a low handicap, the challenge Course is what you would expect, with sloipe ratings of 140 for women and 139 for men.

Relatively large flat greens, protected by bunkers, wide hilly fairways and interesting water obstacles play significant role on the 9 hole Public course, with its par 60.
