By car From the north and the south: via the motorway A7 ( Kassel - Würzburg ) Exit 96 when coming from the north: Bad Kissingen - Oberthulba Exit 97 when coming from the south: Hammelburg - Elfershausen From the west: Take the motorway A3 ( Frankfurt heading towards Würzburg ), either take the exit Weibersbrunn via Gemünden - Lohr. Following signs for Bad Kissingen (approx. 60 km country road), or via Würzburg at the Biebelrieder-motorway intersection take the motorway A7 towards Fulda and then the exit 97 Hammelburg-Elfershausen ( only motorway ) From the east: Take the A71 ( Erfurt - Schweinfurt ) exit 28 Bad Kissingen-Oerlenbach. via Euerdorf towards Hammelburg, than Exit Trimberg to Elfershausen By train You can reach the train station of Elfershausen via Würzburg/Schweinfurt, Fulda or Gemünden. The ICE-train stations Würzburg and Fulda can be reached from all locations within Germany via the rail network of the Deutsche Bahn AG. Almost as reasonable as by train!
