From Rome: - Take the A1 Autostrada to Milano. - Exit at Chiusi-Chianciano. - Join the SS2 in the direction of Cassia. - Continue on to Chianciano, Montepulciano, Pienza, S. Quirico d'Orcia and Montalcino. - When you arrive in Montalcino, follow signs to Castelnuovo dell'Abate. - Follow the road for 1.5 km to Seggiano/Castiglione d'Orcia. - The hotel is immediately before Castello di Velona. From Florence: - Take the A1 Autostrada to Rome. - Exit at Firenze Certosa. - Follow the road in the direction of Siena. - Exit at Siena Sud. - Join the SS2 in the direction of Cassia (Roma blue arrow, Buonconvento). - Follow the road to Montalcino and then to Castelnuovo dell'Abate. - Follow the road for 1.5 km to Seggiano/Castiglione d'Orcia. - The hotel is immediately before Castello di Velona.
