Hostal Camino, Madrid - Hotel Description

Located in the fashionable, hip, cool centre of Madrid, in the district of Chueca and close to the well known street Gran Via, this hostal offers comfort, as well as great access to all sorts of attractions, places of interest, restaurants, bars, theatres, designer establishments and shops.

Very close to the 'Fuencarral' area that has a wide range of shops for all occasions. "El barrio de las letras" where both Cervantes and Lope de Vega used to live is also within easy reach.

" The area is somewhat run down, dirty and noisy. It is however fairly central. The hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floors with no lift which is a problem with heavy baggage. The staff, although very nice, spoke no English or any other language apart from Spanish which makes it difficult. For anyone looking for a clean hotel at a very reasonable rate then this hotel is good. "

" I would recommend this hotel to young people with not much money to spend in a hotel but definitely not for families with young children that would like to have a comfortable bed and a quiet place to stay. "
