This gem from 1334 is Austria's oldest family-run hotel, founded as a monastery tavern and run since 1583 by the Gmachl family - today in the 22nd generation.

The 1,000 m² Panorama Spa "Horizont" offers an indoor pool with an open fireplace, a Finnish herbal sauna, a brine steam bath, an infrared area, and a relaxation pavilion. There is a separate zone for ladies with a bio sauna, a steam bath, and relaxation chairs.

From May to September Romantik Hotel Gmachl features a heated outdoor pool with a big sunbathing lawn.
