Its impressive façade dominates the idyllic stone village of Wansford near Peterborough, set in unspoilt countryside on the banks of the River Nene. Our luxuriously decorated bedrooms, outstanding restaurants (a la carte and brasserie), fully equipped business centre, private meeting rooms and ballroom to accommodate up to 250 guests. Beautifully presented inside and out, The Haycock set within a 'chocolate box' village, has retained its great character and charm. Our luxuriously decorated bedrooms in the old inn once played host to Princess Victoria and Mary Queen of Scots on her way to Fotheringhay. Among the many modern day celebrities to have visited, we are proud to have been graced with the presence of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
