All rooms are en suite, and the hotel has a restaurant, ample free parking, and free Wi-Fi in the reception area. Just outside the hotel are local bus stops, and buses head to both Paignton and Torquay. Off-road parking is nearby.

The large dining area, the Alexandre Restaurant, offers excellent cuisine with a choice of both English and continental dishes, all served by friendly and efficient staff. Special diets can be catered for on request. There is also a bar and lounge area.

By Car - Turn right onto the B3184. - At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and cross the bridge. - At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, then merge onto the A30 (signposted Exeter). Keep in the left-hand lane, then bear left. - Join the M5 (signposted Plymouth) and continue forward onto the A380, entering Wapperwell, continue forward, entering Newton Abbot. - At Kerswll Gardens roundabout, take the first exit onto Riviera Way A3022 (signposted Torquay). - Continue forward onto Riviera Way. - At the traffic signals, bear right (signposted Brixham). - At the traffic signals continue forward (one way). At the next traffic signals, turn right onto Torbay Road and the hotel is on the right-hand side, just past Seaway Lane. From the A380 along Torquay Road: - When you arrive at the junction of Torre Station, turn right down Avenue Road. - Go to the end of the road and turn right onto Torbay Road (A3022). - Drive along this road until you see the Waters Edge Hotel, which is situated on the right-hand side of the road pass Seaway Lane. From Torquay Train Station: Pass the Grand Hotel towards the seafront. Turn right towards Paignton. Just pass Seaway Lane and the Waters Edge Hotel is on your right, facing the sea. By Air Exeter Airport is 40 km away.
