Oro Del Tempo, Gazzo - Villalta - Hotel Description

This unique biological farm-house, which works on solar energy, is located in in the green and silent countryside of Veneto, only 7 km from Vicenza.

It offers comfortable stays, including breakfast, in 8 lodgings on the first floor of a rustic building. Each is served by a lift and 2 are suitable for disabled guests, 3 are for 2 people, the others from 3 to 5 people. The available space per each flat is from 40 to 50 m².

The hotel works on solar energy. It has also chosen to pay attention to the environment everywhere: roofs and ceilings are built entirely with wooden beams certified ISO 14000. The clay plaster and painting have ecological certification. The paints were studied to reduce the atmospheric pollution inside the rooms. The hotel followed the pilot project of the National Research Centre, in cooperation with Legambiente. This project started in the Lombardy region and is showing a 40% reduction of atmospheric pollution. The hotel therefore improves the atmosphere.

Breakfast is served in the comfort of your own lodging. The hotel does not have a restaurant. For those who wish to dine out for lunch and dinner, the hotel is happy to provide a list of several local restaurants where you can enjoy traditional cuisine. The Biological-farm is 50 metres from a small Pizzeria Restaurant (costs EUR 10-16 per person, closed Thursday), 250 metres from a very good restaurant (costs EUR 20-35 per person, closed Wednesday), 1.5 km from Osteria, a traditional restaurant (costs EUR 18-25 per person, closed Monday), or you can use your kitchen in the biological-lodge.

By car: - Exit the highway at Vicenza Est. - After 50 metres, turn right towards Torri di Q. - Go straight for 1 km and then turn right. - Continue straight for 500 metres. - After the bridge over the river, turn left towards Marola. - Stay on the main street for 2.5 km. - After the fly-over, turn left at the roundabout, following the indications for Quinto Vicentino. - Stay on the main street for 350 metres, then turn right towards Grantortino, just before the bridge. - Go straight for 1.7 km, then turn left towards Valproto and Quinto Vicentino. - Go straight for 1.2 km, then you will find the hotel on your right, just across from the Massignan-Orchidea florist.
