Residentie Californië, De Koog - Area Information
Only 2 lines of dunes separate the seaside resort of De Koog from the North Sea, and this makes it ideal for many holidaymakers. You can go shopping and then rest on one of the many terraces or go for a swim in the subtropical pool. The woodland area and the centre for the Dutch Wadden and the North Sea, EcoMare, are situated immediately south of De Koog. With a sandy beach that stretches for around 30 km, Texel has lots of space. There are different beach entrances, where you will find beach pavilions, among other things. At post 9 (near Den Hoorn) and post 28 (near De Cocksdorp) the beach pavilions are open all year round. There are lifeguards at most locations in Summer. Swimming is permitted along the entire North Sea beach, except for a stretch between posts 31 and 33.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
