Brasserie 't Oud Conservatorium offers a high-level bistro kitchen at democratic prices. The Chef's season suggestions and regional dishes will send you into culinary ecstasy. Breakfast, tasty snacks, quick and excellent business lunches as well as sumptuous dinners are served on a daily basis. In addition to his à la carte, the Chef includes new "the Chef's Suggestions" every other week. The large Brasserie leads to the Veranda and the City Terrace. The cosy City Terrace, with its wonderful fountain, is a real oasis of peace and the place "par excellence" to enjoy the Mechelen carillon concerts during the summer months. Opening hours: Every day: from 8 am to 11 pm (Fri and Sat to 12 pm) Kitchen: from 11 am to 10 pm (Fri and Sat to 11 pm) The hotel has an attractive heated 'Orangerie'. The "Mechelen - Nekkerspoel" railway station is the closest to the hotel (15 minutes at walking distance). Walking from the "Mechelen Centraal" station would take about 25 minutes, but you can also take the city bus. Mechelen has a very punctual city bus network (De Lijn) as well as reliable taxi services.
