This hotel overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by lush gardens on this impressive volcanic island. It boasts a wide range of facilities to help you enjoy a fun-filled family holiday.

The Playaverde features an outdoor swimming pool and a mini-club for the kids. You can also take advantage of the free shuttle bus to the beaches of the Costa Teguise (excludes Saturday afternoons and Sundays). During the evening, the family can take a meal together in the buffet restaurant, with its show kitchen, before enjoying the evening entertainment programmes.

All guests booking half-board rates for a minimum of 5 nights between the 1 and 14 June, 24 and 29 August, and 13 and 30 October 2008 receive a complimentary upgrade to full board (drinks not included).

The hotel has a fantastic outdoor themed swimming pool with water slides and a whirlpool. The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace and sunbathing area with lush green palm trees. Towels and sun loungers are available for guests’ use free of charge and there is also a naturist terrace.

The hotel boasts an extensive programme of daytime and evening entertainment for children and adults, with something for all ages. Activities and games on offer include shuffleboard, giant chess, petanque and mini golf.

Club Delfin is a daily activity and entertainment programme for children aged between 4 and 12 years, and there is a separate Teen Club for children aged 12-18 years. These clubs operate at weekends and throughout the summer, from 1 June to 30 September. Please note that Club Delfin is not a day-care centre.

The hotel’s own on-site buffet restaurant, Drago, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel guests can choose breakfast only, half board, full board and all-inclusive packages at an additional cost, payable on arrival, directly to the hotel.

The breakfast buffet includes a wide selection of products, cooked in front of you for added freshness. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sweet crepes and tortillas with a variety of fillings are a small selection of the items available.

The lunch and dinner buffets consist of a variety of hot and cold dishes, including salads, appetisers, vegetables and meat and fish dishes. The chefs are again visible as they cook and prepare the food. There are daily choices of meat, fish and vegetables available.

The hotel also caters for Coeliacs, with a wide range of gluten and wheat-free products in association with COELIAC and FACE, the Spanish Federation of Associated Coeliacs. If you have special dietary needs and requirements, please contact the hotel prior to your arrival.

Please note that a dress code is in operation in the restaurant, smart casual dress is expected and shorts are not permitted. The opening hours of the restaurant do vary according to the season. Staff at reception can inform you of the current times that meals are available.

The restaurant features a baby Corner with complimentary facilities available for parents’ use, such as a microwave and a refrigerator for baby food.

The hotel also boasts the Thaiche saloon bar and a snack bar by the swimming pool, which is open only in high season.

The all-inclusive option includes full board and drinks until 20:00 each evening. Between 20:00 and 00:00, a small supplement is applicable for further drinks. In high season, between 11:00 and 14:00, free tapas is on offer. In low season, between 15:30 and 17:30, complimentary coffee and cookies are available in the bar. The all-inclusive package does not include snacks, cakes, specific brands of ice creams, products from the in-room minibar or room service. Telephone calls, parking and the use of safety deposit boxes are also not included.
