The Feriengasthof Tauernstüberl is located in the southern part of Zell am See in the province of Salzburg. It is close to the ski slopes and offers a charming, familiar atmosphere.

The Areit cable car is only 500 metres away and brings you to the Schmittenhöhe ski area. There is a stop of the free ski bus right in front of the hotel. Cross country tracks and winter walking paths begin just around the corner.

Enjoy typical Salzburg specialities including light and healthy snacks, as well as international cuisine and home-made desserts. In the summer, there is a barbecue once a week and during winter season, there is a fondue evening once a week.

The wellness area invites you to unwind after a great day out in the fresh mountain air.

The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the golf course (25% discount on green fee) and free bike rental is available at the hotel. Moreover, the Tauernstüberl offers free use of the outdoor pool (in July and August).

In the wintertime you can rent a bobsleigh free of charge from the Feriengasthof Tauernstüberl.

From 05 December 2009 until 11 April 2010, rates include half-board.

From 15 May to 15 October 2010 the SummerCard Zell am See/Kaprun, which includes entrance fees and entitles guests to visit diverse attractions, is included in the room rate.
