As the capital of Crete, Heraklion has a lot to offer and is a great day trip from the hotel. Also worth a look are the archaeological finds from the famous Minoan palace of Malia.

However, you may not want to leave the hotel and there is definitely more than enough to entertain you. As well as the leisure facilities available, Greek and international dishes are on offer in the restaurant, and you can get drinks and cocktails from the main bar or pool bar.
