The Hotel Australia is situated in the quiet seaside resort of Amoudara, Heraklion, Crete, just 350 meters from the 6 km long, sandy beach, set back from the main road. Our hotel is about 6 Km away from Heraklion's International Airport and 5km from the main town Heraklion. Australia is a family run hotel, offering traditional friendly Cretan hospitality.

By Taxi (from the airport): - A taxi rank is located immediately outside the arrivals gate, which always has taxis at hand whenever a flight has arrived. By Bus (from the airport): - Just in front of the airport you can catch the local bus which will take you directly to Amoudara for just over EUR 1. - Take bus number 6 to Amoudara and get off at the Candia Maris Hotel bus stop.
