It is the perfect place for peaceful walks, followed by relaxed conversations by the fireplace. Guests can either practise winter sports during the winter time or have a refreshing swim in the summer, in the natural lagoons.

• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

By Car (from Lisbon): - Follow the A1 motorway until exit Entroncamento/Torres Novas/A23. - Follow the A23 until the exit for Belmonte/Manteigas. - Follow the N232 until Manteigas. - Follow the Pousada road signs, located 12 km later on the same road towards Gouveia - Seia. - You will be on top of the mountain called Penhas Douradas. - From Manteigas you have an alternative route through the Forest Road of San Sebastian. - Turn left after the first Pousada road sign. - Go up until the N232. - Turn left and you will find the Pousada 2 km later. By Car (from Porto) - Follow the A1 motorway until exit Albergaria-a-Velha. - Follow the A25 until the exit for Mangualde. - Follow the N232 towards Gouveia and follow signs to Serra da Estrela/Manteigas. - About 25 km later you will find the Pousada road signs.
