This 17th century house enjoys spectacular views over the Douro River.

The hotel provides the perfect base to enjoy outdoor activities such as canoeing. Alternatively, soak in the views with a ride on a 19th-century steam train.

Since the region is very peaceful and quiet, Quinta da Ventuzela offers its guests calm and relaxing ways of spending their time at the Quinta. Our guests can interact in the swimming pool area, play table games or a game of pool, and also enjoy an evening gathering around the piano.

The main house has 4 bedrooms and outside there are 2 houses: Casa da Eira and Casa do Caseiro,

A maximum of 3 children (aged 0-9) can share the double rooms for free.

By Car: From Oporto: - Follow the A3 in the direction of Braga. - Take exit A4 for Vila Real. - Exit for Felgueiras/Marco and follow signs for Marco de Canaveses. - Then follow signs that say Cinfães/Barragem do Carrapatelo. - After you cross the dam Barragem do Carrapatelo, you will come across a sign (on your left) that says Quinta da Ventuzela. - Follow this sign (do not take any exit) until a crossroads. - Follow the sign (on your right) that says Quinta da Ventuzela and head up until another crossroads. - Follow the sign that says Quinta da Ventuzela and then turn on your left - Continue for approximately 100 metres and you will come across a sign (on your left) that says Quinta da Ventuzela. - Turn on your left and you will see the hotel From Lisbon: - Follow the A1 to Oporto or take exit IP3 (in the direction of Viseu). - Take exit A 24 (in the direction of Vila Real). - Follow signs that say Castro Daire/Cinfães and head in the direction of Cinfães. - You cross the village of Cinfães in the direction of the courthouse. - When you reach the courthouse (Câmara Municipal in Portuguese) you turn on your right and you will find a roundabout. - You turn on your left (in the direction of the Douro River). - Drive for approximately 2 km and you will come across a sign (on your left) that says Quinta da Ventuzela (in the direction of the small village of Casal). - Follow this sign (do not take any exit) and cross the small village of Casal. - After crossing the small village, drive approximately 500 metres and you will come across a sign (on your right) that says Quinta da Ventuzela. - Follow this sign and you will reach the hotel.
