The hotel is located in the quiet neighbourhood of Saint-Gillis, which is on walking distance from the market, the bridge and other sights.
There also is a large breakfast room, a quiet lobby and a bar waiting for you.

The owners and the staff are pleased to welcome you to Hotel Jacobs. From 8:00 until 23:00, the hotel staff are delighted to offer information regarding restaurants and places of interest. As real Bruges residents, the hotel staff will be proud to guide you in one of the most romantic and best preserved cities in Europe.

" When we arrived at Hotel Jacobs we were greeted warmly. The receptionist was very helpful - we were given advice about parking, and where to go to find nice places to eat in the evening. We were given a map with directions to the main square and tourist information office. We had all the information about what we wanted to do and how to do it before we reached Bruge. The staff at Hotel Jacobs made our 2 night stay very comfortable and made us feel welcome! "

The hotel is situated in the Saint-Gillis neighbourhood, which is a typical and quiet neighbourhood in the city centre. Here, you will discover the Lace centre, the Folklore Museum, the Saint-Gillischurch, the Saint-Annachurch and the Lange Rei, which is one of the many canals in Bruges. Also you are close to the Ring Road of Bruges, which gives you an easy access to the little country village of Damme. Because of its canals, it is not uncommon to hear Bruges described as the 'Venice of the North'. This is an unnecessary comparison, because Bruges stands on its own as a uniquely well-preserved city, ranging from medieval to modern times. Bruges throws your sense of time out of joint, sweeping you back through the centuries. It is also an almost stagily pretty city, and if there is one criticism visitors have, it is that is seems almost too perfect.
