The Fitzwilliam has 2 impressive restaurants and a great bar. Thornton's is the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant and is considered by foodies to be Dublin's finest restaurant. Thornton's offers fine dining, a sophisticated, elegant atmosphere and stunning views of St Stephen's Green. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday. You can also sample some of the superb food on offer at the new Thornton's canapé bar. No reservation is necessary and many excellent wines are available by the glass. Situated on the mezzanine level, overlooking the hotel's lobby, Citron is a chic and stylish metropolitan hangout with a fresh twist. Citron serves modern Mediterranean cuisine, with breakfast available from 07:00 to 11:00. Lunch is served from 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 17:30 to 22:45 daily. The hotel's bar is the place to be seen for Dublin's trendsetters. The Inn On The Green is an intimate room, dominated by a long, curved pewter bar. By Air: The hotel is approximately 12 km from Dublin Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. By Car (from the south): - Take the N11 and follow the signs for Dublin's city centre. - Drive though Donnybrook, over Leeson Street Bridge. - Take the right turn, around St Stephen's Green, and the hotel is located on the west side of the green, after you have passed the top of Grafton Street. Parking: The Fitzwilliam Hotel has a supervised underground car park, which can be found by turning right down Glovers Alley, after you have passed the hotel. Parking is available at an additional cost.
