This attractive family-run hotel is conveniently located just an 8-minute drive from junction 20 of the M25, junction 8 of the M1 and Maylands Avenue Industrial Estate.

The Boxmoor Lodge Hotel has a quiet, yet convenient location, with excellent transport links. As well as good access to the region's major road network, the hotel is just 5 minutes from Hemel Hempstead Railway Station. Trains run regularly between the station and London Euston Railway Station in central London.

Free private parking is available for guests.

Parts of the hotel date back to the early 17th century and were built as the gatehouse to Boxmoor House. Full of rich original character and charm, the hotel has also now been extended to provide additional accommodation and conferencing facilities. Today, the hotel has 25 well-equipped and comfortable en suite rooms, all of which have modern facilities, including satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and high quality toiletries and bathroom products.

The hotel is located in a 'designated new town' which means that it was completely redesigned and rebuilt after World War 2 though the "old town", as affectionately referred to by residents, is still standing. In town, at Leisure World at Jarman Park, who can ice skate, swim, play pool and arcade machines. Away from Jarman Park is the fast paced game of Quasar. For those looking for something a little slower, Little Hay and Shendish Manor both have 18 or 9-hole golf courses and a pitch and putt. Little Hay also offers tuition. Hemel is located on the central routes of several different travelling methods, be it train, motorway or canal boat. With London only 25 miles away, even more attractions open up. Windsor Castle is 21 miles away to the south, Whipsnade Zoo is only 8 miles away to the north and for guests looking for a bit of history, the Roman city of St. Albans is only minutes away to the east.

From the M1: - Exit at junction 8 and follow signs for Hemel Hempstead railway station (will be on left). - Continue straight at the roundabout and and under 2 bridges. The hotel is located just before the traffic lights on the left. From the M25: - Exit at junction 20 onto the A41 for Hempstead Junction. - Follow signs for Hemel Hempstead railway station and continue as above.
