Excellently located on the beach and 30 minutes from Heraklion International Airport, in the east of Hersonissos, this is a bright and attractive hotel, built in an Aegean village style.

The scenery is beautiful and will encourage you to explore. The hotel is set amongst brilliantly coloured hibiscus and bougainvillea, accentuating the natural low stone walls and piazzas. We are waiting to introduce you to Cretan hospitality, where strangers become friends. The gardens are collectively 5,000 m² in size. Facilities include a florist, photographer and a shopping arcade. There is also car rental, a quick check-in service and a late departure room. We have a medical room with a doctor in attendance and first aid facilities. We also offer disabled access to the hotel, restaurants, bars, beach and public bathrooms.

Full board is offered as a buffet-style self-service in the main restaurant. This includes a full American breakfast, late breakfast buffet, continental breakfast, lunch buffet and a dinner buffet. These can be accompanied by soft drinks, local beer and local wine. Special dining events include a weekly gala dinner buffet, weekly Cretan buffet, weekly Italian buffet and a weekly Zorbas night. This is a buffet with live Cretan/Greek music and dances. These can also be accompanied by soft drinks, local beer and local wine. A late dinner self-service buffet features salads, soup, vegetables, pasta and 2 sauces, as well as meat courses and desserts.

Silvan Restaurant offers à la carte dining. There is a selection of hot cold appetisers (served), salads (buffet), main courses (served), and desserts (served). These are based on Mediterranean cuisine and accompanied by soft drinks, local beer and local wine (served). Open 2 days a week, a reservation is required. In case of cold weather, these services will transfer to the main restaurant.

The beach bar offers soft drinks, local beer and local wine, as well as long drinks, cocktails and Greek aperitifs. There is also a biscuits buffet, traditional sweets, ice cream, dried fruit and chips. There is also a snack buffet with a variety of pastries, ice cream and fruit.

Formal dress is required in all restaurants during evening meals (no shorts or sleeveless shirts).
