A short walk of 5 minutes will take you to the centre of Plakias village, with bars, restaurants and shops. Plakias is a quiet and less touristic place, ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the crowded resorts.

There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants in Plakias and in the villages around. Here you can expect fresh, delicious Cretan cuisine at low prices.
