In the vicinity of Cavtat are the small islands Mrkan, Bobara and Supetar. They are rich in vegetation, pine woods and beautiful pebble beaches. Cavtat is a nice starting point if you wish to visit the magnificent Dubrovnik old town and also want a retreat from the bustle in Dubrovnik. Regular bus and boat services operate between Cavtat, Plat, Milini and Dubrovnik every half on hour.
