Welcome in our family friendly holiday and hiking hotel with flair! Hospitality with heart is our Moto! The House is situated in the centre: 50m until the postal bus stop to Saas-Fee and Saas-Almagell (water dam Mattmark-highest natural dam in Europe), direct at the cross country skiing pist (26km long), 400m to the gondola that brings you to the skiing region of Saas-Grund/Hohsaas (till 3200m), 5min by foot to the ice skating rink, Tennis court and Football pitch.

This hotel is the ideal starting point for long or short hiking tours in the land of the 4000 metre high mountain range. Our newly renovated rooms are cosy and spacious. All have access to a balcony.

We would like to spoil you in one of our restaurants: our cosy restaurant with specialties out of our varied menu, the rustic Hunter's lounge with typical regional rösti, fondue and raclette.

The bar is a meeting point for locals and guests. Here you will get in touch with traditions again!

A rustic type of Restaurant which is appreciated by our guests, not only for its good food but also for its nice atmosphere. • Special Dining Area for our Hotel guests. • Lounge with TV and Library.

• Internet: Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
• Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

• Extra Charges: 3.6 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 6 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. All children from 12 to 16 years are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Travel by car: - Motorway Basel-Bern-Thun-Spiez - Cantonal Street to Kandersteg - Car transfer train to Goppenstein, then to Visp-Stalden-Saas - Or via Motorway to Basel-Bern-Lausanne-Martigny-Sierre, then Cantonal Street to Visp -Stalden-Saas By Train: - Take the train to Brig or Visp and then change to the Post Bus to Saas-Fee/Saastal - Get off the Bus at the station called Saas-Grund Dorf. - There are bus connections every hour until 20.15 from Brig (or 20.30 from Visp.)
