Ensor, Bruges - Reviews & Ratings"Although the hotel had a pleasant location, near a canal, it really seemed to me to be more of the standard of a youth hostel. I think with a little upgrading, it could be very inviting but even my daughter said that it reminded her of places she had stayed on school trips." (107370149)
Friendly proprietor - helpful with advice on routes etc.
Towels were not replaced, nor were plastic water glasses. Beds were only made up rather rudimentally. It seemed that the proprietor's children were employed to do the housekeeping and while they were charming, it wasn't really very professional. The hotel is classed as 3* and charged accordingly but the decor and general maintenance fell rather short of that sort of standard. I was travelling with my disabled mother and there was no assistance offered in taking in or removing our luggage.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from the squares, pretty hotel and right by a canal which was lovely, staff very friendly and accomodating. Thouroughly enjoyable.

Ensor, Bruges - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel was fine for what we wanted, basic enough not too many luxuries but cheap and cheerful family run hotel !! We knew we wouldn't be spending much time there so it was perfect for what we wanted. If you wanted to spoil somebody for the weekend away you would have to spend more money on accommodation !!!" It was very central with easy access to the railway station and to the centre of the city

Apparently rooms were priced differently but could not understand this as there was little difference between the two. However could not fault position of hotel nor efficiency and friendliness of staff." (97245901)
Friendliness of staff, position of hotel to main features, position of hotel to noise, traffic, etc.
Cannot really find a bad word to say about hotel ensor

Sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungs - Verhältnis. Sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, Garage am Haus für 7€, Zimmer einfach und sauber mit Bad, Frühstück o.k., Personal ausserordentlich nett!!!
Wenn man nur in seinem Zimmer übernachten möchte, dann gibt es keine Minuspunkte.

Chambre très agréable, très belle vue, quartier calme, petit déjeuner excellent, personel prévenant et aimable.
