  "Fair for a week end, not adequate for the price." (107943639)

  Very good downtown central position, very kind staff. Pleasant view of the Rhine river.

  Old furniture and fitted carpet, smelling of dusty mat; Separate beds, no way to join them, GOSH!!

  "We are a family of 4 (2 teenage kids)& arrived at the hotel after midnight.we were greeted by the night porter & a short walk took us to our appartment. He spoke a little English, but there was a slight mix up with breakfast details. We arranged 9.30 with him, but assumed we would eat at the hotel, so when we arrived at 9.25, we were told it was being delivered at the appartment. This was in fact better, and each morning, breakfast was delivered promptly. plenty provided to feed us (and more). The appartment is in an ideal position, close to the river, main sights,trains, trams, shopping etc (and more importantly to a good choice of eating places for evenings) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and woul return again if we visited Cologne again" (97757245)

  "The location and accomodation was perfect for our stay, visiting the Christmas markets. We assumed we would be in the main hotel overlooking the river, but in fact what we were given, a few little streets away, was better! Our only difficulty was parking close by, as the city was so busy. Buffet breakfast was in the cosy entrance of the entrance lounge of the hotel. The most outstanding thing was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff/manager, he was on the front desk each time and was charming." (97198116)

  Fantastaic location, apartment overlooking a Christmas market and ice rink. Spacious, clean and quiet accomodation. Good buffet breakfast in cosy entrance lounge.

  Tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice, and bigger pillows!

  We stay in an apartment with two double rooms which proved great value for money

  No kettle! (Only a coffee maker). A kettle was provided when we asked for it though. You also need to take your own tea bags/coffee etc.

  It's location, proximity to all amenities. Liked the fact it was a separate appartment which afforded us greater privacy.
