"Excellent. Wish I could have stayed longer." (107499334)

Hotel was comfortable and friendly. Conveniently located for M4. I liked being just across the road from the beach, and the sunset over the bay was one of the highlights of the weekend.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Nice restaurant + Bar. Good location for Business or leisure.

Crossing the road to the sea front needed some care as on the night I stayed it was being used by 'boy racers' - hope this was not a regular event.

    "very good" (108044264)

interior was of a high quality

On arriving the exterior gave us some concern but on entering the hotel we were extremely pleased that this was of a different quality. On reflection the exterior is exposed to all winds and weathers and had obviously taken a beating.

"Vey good, when compared to the next hotel!!" (108033185)

The room was in excellent order, very clean, newly refurbished and modern, food excellent.

The room was very hot, we opened the window, but the noise from the kitchen extractor fans beneath our room were very noisy. We were to1d it was from the public house next door.

When you look at the hotel from the road it is a bit disappointing it could do with a coat of paint. When inside every thing was fine. Could put off any passing trade.

"Externally, the hotel did not look very promising, and the staircase/downstairs areas were certainly old-fashioned (carpet as well), but we were very favourably impressed by the helpfulness and efficiency of the staff, the decor of the dining room, the bathing area (so many hotel pools are too small and not worth getting wet for, but this was not), the straightforward and good value-for-money mnu and the quality of the breakfast. We will almosr certainly return." (97424369)

    Excellent bathroom

"The reaction of staff at all levels was excellent and I think training showed through. All were helpful and friendly. Food was also excellent and well presented. Beakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Booking on line did not make sufficient provision for booking a room with disabled facilities. This had to be requested on arrival. Fortunately such a room was available and provided. With an increasing number of senior citizens and the less mobile this provision is becoming of more importance. Minor items such as bath wall bars and mats, toilet rails, low shelves, easy to operate basin taps and shower contol are usefu. Wheel chair facilities and areas in bathrooms are not always required, Just a little extra convenience. This was provided in this case on request." (97477861)

    Disabled accomodation was good

The room was spacious and well equipped. The temperature was comfortable and the facilities clean and well presented.

Was expecting complimentary shortcake buscuits but only had custard creams.

"The location felt a little isolated- perhaps because it was the end of the seaon, and the signage to the hotel was poor. All in all i thought the hotel was in need of a bit of TLC" (97947314)

It had a nice view of the sea, the staff were friendly and accomodating. There was satelite TV and Tea & coffee facilities were plentiful and the WI-FI was free (but only worked in the lobby- rooms are coming on line later)

The beddroom was a little damp, there was a window lined with bath towels outside our room- which remained there over the 2 days. And for 24hours it was accompanied by 4 dirty beer glasses. I thought the dinner menu was OK but whatever was ordered if it came with sauce or gravy it had a skin on it. Breakfast was very nice.

Comfortable bed, warm bedding. Seaview. Clock radio.

Although the room looked clean, there was a strange musty smell which evoked dirt and was quite disconcerting. The towels were extremely small and inadequate.

that was closed to the beach. but building need some more work

that it was too far from the main town center (swansea) as i do not drive. beside that there were not enough activities going on. it is hard to attract people to the place due to its destination fron town. it appears to be more suitable for family than couples.

"Despite the fact that upon arrival,i was dissapointed with the outside of the hotel, once inside I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice clean place it actually was. The only thing I would suggest is fixing the roof outside,as other people may have the same assumption as my boyfriend and I did, which would be a shame because the hotel was really very lovely once inside. Service was a bit slow in the restaurant, they took 20 mins to give us a menu. There was however a coach party there at the time which may explain why service was so slow. When we eventually had our food,it was very nice." (99783601)

The room was very clean, tidy, which was not what I was expecting after seeing the outside of the hotel

Upon arrival at the hotel my boyfriend and I were shocked to see part of the roof hanging off (just above the entrance) My boyfriend at that point almost refused to stay there, luckily I dragged him inside and we both found to our surprise that it was just the outside that looked grotty.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was quite suitable and the bathroom was immaculate. The hotel is located right on the waterfront and the surrounding area is clean and safe.

Because the area is in the process of redevelopment, there is not much within walking distance; except for the waterfront, which is quite nice.

"I would like to have known that this was an older, typical sea-front hotel in desperate need of a make-over. The quiet room I requested wasn't and the room service choice was poor, overpriced and overcooked when it arrived." (3304484575)

The car park was not busy.

The room was small and needed decoration. The hotel was noisy - full of wedding party children running along corridors.

"An enjoyable overnight stay. The information we needed was pretty much already available on the website other than not to be persuaded by the look of the outside of the hotel. The design is not very exciting on first arrival & you could be led to believe that the accomodation & facilities were not up to much. However once you are inside a warm welcome & facilities awaits you!" (3304213592)

Comfortable bed, leisure facilities, friendly staff, sea view

Quality of breakfast-sausages needed to be better quality & flavour, presentation could be better-no oil on plate. Bacon & tomatoes were good

"It was adequate but outdated. The public areas were painfully quiet and unpopulated so I avoided the dining room and bar, using facilities in an adjacent establishment. An improvement in immage is necessary to loose the '1970s box' appearance although I appreciate that there may not be the custom or revenues to make this viable." (3304230118)

It was clean and tidy and up to the accepted standard for a 3 star hotel.

It now needs a complete refurbishment as the decor and layouts are Generally dated. Heavy chlorine smell in the stairwell from pool. Receptionist was either lackadaisical or bored out of her mind. Bar in foyer dated and unweloming.

Good views. Close to the crematorium we needed to go to for my uncles funeral at Margam.

The renovation work in the entrance hall. I am sure it didn't meet health and safety regulations. After checking in I fell on the uneven surface as I approached the lifts and hurt my knee fairly badly.

The 1st time I stayed I was a little unsure but when I got there the staff were so professional and this continued all the times I have stayed. Nothing was too much trouble for them and when I asked this time if I could use the leisure facilities, they wave the charge. All in all the best hotel to date that I have stayed in." (1996634)
