  "This is one of the best 3 star hotels I have ever stayed in. It exceeded my expectations in every way from the rooms, to its location to the friendliness of the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone." (99894844)

  Rooms tastefully refurbished with exception attention to detail, great location, excellant value for money.

  Another non-news channel in English on the TV would be nice. Only CNN and BBC World available in English.

  "the directions to take a water taxi after getting off the vaporatto at C'a D'Oro were misleading as it was a very simple, short walk to your hotel. it would be unnecessary to incur the large taxi fee to arrive by boat. but in general, the staff was very helpful, the room was enjoyable (although the double room our companions got was quite small), and the breakfast filling and tasty."   the room was a decent size, nicely decorated. Breakfast room was very pleasant, food was adequate but could have used fresh fruit. Location was convenient yet a little away from the main drag.

  "The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The situation of the hotel was excellent;quiet so we had good night's sleep yet easy access for sights,restaurants and shopping.It is not necessary to stay near St Mark's Square where prices are much higher, as this hotel is within easy walking distance of just about anywhere in Venice. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Our canal view albeit at an extra price, was magical." (97596274)

  The staff were extremely helpful. The site was perfect.

  I can't say I disliked anything, but the room was quite small and the shower head was fixed overhead, rather than able to be held in the hand. I don't care for water over my head! Anyway I prefer a bath room rather than a shower room but that was all that was available. The lock on the safe box was tricky to open.
