"The hotel accommodation was held out as accommodation of a 5 star standard, whilst the rooms were of a 5 star standard, the service and food were not. The staff were variously rude and incompetent. At times they treated my partner and I abruptly, at times it was clear that they found our requests and/or questions annoying. In general, we were not treated with the level of service and politeness that I have experienced in other 5 star accomodation. In future, particularly on any return trip to Prague, I will be sure to stay at one of the larger Corporate hotels, in which a high level of service is usually forthcoming, rather than at a glorified bed and breakfast(such as The Three Storks). I would recommend the reader do the same, after all, a holiday is supposed to be relaxing and free from stress. Surly staff and bad food are an unnecesarry irritant that are to be avoided." The buffet breakfast food was generally of a low standard. The coffee ran out before the end of the breakfast period on several days; the cofee was generally very bad and far too watery. This annoyed me.
